JobDescription Our client is a leading telecommunicationcompany, and they would like to seek a suitable candidate for theirteam.
Responsibilities：

Strategic Planning and Visioning
• To define and executethe overall security measure in system application and platformlandscape
• To advise Senior Management on strategic issues,latest security trends on system application and infrastructure
• To outline and refine security related policies andprocedures, ensure consistency and use of best practices in design andbuild of application and infrastructure

Security
• To... adopt appropriate IT security measures based on currentissues and best practices identified globally, regionally, by auditorsand external influences
• To develop guidelines specific to theAuthority when required
• To ensure security policies areadhered to by all users and vendors and continually reviewed
• To lead by example and take a strong position with regards tosystem security

Financial Controls
• Todevelop, manage and control the annual budgets and expenses ofsecurity projects and operational spending
• To review thebusiness case for proposed initiatives to ensure all relevant costsand services required for deployment, operations and support areincluded
• To manage vendor performance to leverage andoptimize investments:
• To review costs and identify costsaving opportunities that do not impact the strategic vision
• To authorise all technology related purchases and capitalexpenditures based on the company’s authorization limits and policies.

Requirements:
• ABachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or arelated field.
• At least 8 years of experience in managing ITsecurity or related role.
• Strong knowledge of informationsecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001,CIS Controls).
• Experience with security tools and cloudtechnologies such as
• Ops in AWS, MS Azure, Ali,Google Cloud,
• Firewall solutions
• Webapplication firewall solutions
• Security information andevent management (SIEM) solution
• Technical knowledge ofoperating systems, networking, firewalls, encryption, and othercybersecurity concepts.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM,or CISA are preferred.
• Experience in leading a security teamincluding the outsourcing venders.
• Strong problem solver. Getto the root cause person.
• Native in option provisions andpros/cons analysis.
• Ability to communicate and liaise withvarious parties, internal and external.
• Experience in vendormanagement and liaison
• Fast pace and highly skilled inprioritization.
• Good command of spoken and written English,Chinese, and Mandarin
• Strong affinity to collaborate andcommunicate to ensure teamwork.
