Job Title: Transport Planner

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our client as a Transport Planner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing daily shipments of steel using a computerised Transport Management System and SAP system.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and coordinate the daily transportation of steel products
• Utilize computerized systems to manage the shipment process and maintain accurate records
• Work closely with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Monitor and report on transportation performance and identify areas for improvement
• Maintain compliance with regulations and industry standards
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the transport department

Qualifications:
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Transport Management Systems and SAP
• Experience in transport planning and/or logistics is preferred
• Experience in the steel... industry is desirable
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

This an ongoing temp to perm opportunity. Starting this month based in Wetherill Park, NSW.

Afternoon shift from 12:54pm - 9:06pm and a flexi day every 3 months.
