Consumer Research Strategy & Innovation Manager What this position is about
- Purpose:
The RRP Learning Lab is a newly established team with the aim of pioneering new frameworks, processes and tools for generating and organizing qualitative and quantitative data and consumer insights and using them to create actionable innovation strategies and starting points for experience, product and service development across categories and innovation horizons in the RRP space.

What will you actually do?
The team is still in an early stage of establishing itself, therefore the learning lab managers will be involved both in strategic and highly operational, hands on, foundational setup work that should not be delegated to other teams or agencies. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with seamlessly switching between the two modes of working.
The initial responsibilities of the Learning Lab Managers:
Explore existing internal and external insights sources, pipelines and projects and selecting those appropriate for a first RRP Insights Integration PoC Mine the connected sources for additional insights and distill them into actionable strategies informing the entire RRP product and innovation ecosystem Initiating individual discovery researches that are currently not available or difficult to initiate for the company and critical for the RRP experience design Support the design and iterative evolution of a hypothesis-driven general RRP Insights Map and Learning Agenda Create individual experiments and prototypes around innovative experience designs, from ideation, validation to incubation
Key Responsibilities:
Insights Exploration:
Explore existing internal and external insights sources, pipelines and projects and selecting those appropriate for a first RRP Insights Integration PoC Insights Mining & Synthesis:
Mine the connected sources for additional insights and distill them into actionable strategies informing the entire RRP product and innovation ecosystem Insights-backed & Hypothesis-driven RRP strategy development: support the design and iterative evolution of a hypothesis-driven general RRP Insights Map and Learning Agenda. Carry out insights-backed strategy development initiatives and design, prototype, deploy and maintain tools and methods for strategy implementation Fundamental Consumer Experience Research:
Initiate discovery researches that are not available or difficult to initiate for the company and critical for the RRP experience design. Create briefs for projects, ensure that project execution is aligned with priorities, ensure structured documentation of projects and outcomes Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon manager’s request Who are we looking for
- Requirements:
Preferred: BSc in a research-related field such as Economics, Statistics, Anthropology, Psychology or Marketing At least 5 years of experience in a related role, such as innovation, consumer insights, or product development Preferred:
Experience in innovation-heavy, fast-paced industries, in innovation and/or consumer research in an FMCG company or related consulting companies Fluent in written and oral English Qualitative (and quantitative) research methods Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to turn data into actionable insights Experience developing and implementing new frameworks, processes, and tools (preferably related to consumer research or data/knowledge management) Experience in the hands-on application of…
