Site Manager Kaisten Job description:
This role is based in Kaisten, Aargau, Switzerland. We are looking for a Site Manager for our active ingredients manufacturing site in Kaisten.
The site manager has the overall legal and business accountability for all enterprise aspects of the Kaisten site, including safety, quality, profit and loss, strategic directions, operations, staffing and budgeting.
You will be providing leadership and change management skills to drive... the performance of the site within the global active ingredients manufacturing organization.
You will be developing and implementing the Kaisten site strategy aligned to the company strategy, ensuring our commitment to sustainable operations while leveraging the unique value proposition of the Kaisten manufacturing site.
To ensure all site activities comply with HSE, quality, labor, or any other legal requirements, as well as with the company Code of Conduct. To ensure excellence in HSEQ performance for Kaisten site and develop and monitor progress against general site improvement plans. To ensure long-term competitiveness, by leading site transformation, by driving productivity improvement. To ensure best practices or industry standards are implemented and maintained in departments;
drive operational discipline, clarity of objectives, robust budget setting and cost control, learning curve development plans. To work closely with global operations, sourcing and procurement, process development, supply chain and other manufacturing sites leaders to support the development and implementation of a robust life cycle management To act as the local sponsor and to be accountable for the successful implementation of global projects on site To lead the site 'people' agenda, promoting Diversity & inclusion and growth opportunity for all employees.
Ensure a solid succession plan for Kaisten as well as for Swiss manufacturing and globally. To build solid relationships with public authorities, community, and other stakeholders to enable effective management and co-operation Required profile:
MS/BS in industrial, engineering or chemical sciences, or a 5-year technical degree in related discipline. Many years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in a chemical manufacturing-based technology, processes and/or related industry. At least 5 years of experience managing a significant segment of a large manufacturer or the entire operation of a smaller manufacturer. Having a high level of proficiency and familiarity with computer tools Fluency in German language is mandatory as well as English.
Any other languages would be an asset Effective communication, conflict resolution, contingency planning and problem solving (root-cause-analysis) skills
