Posición: LCC-1438 - Propulsion Systems CAE Structural Engineer
The CAE Structural engineer for Propulsion Systems components and subsystems, acts in the support and technical direction to obtain optimized engineering solutions, through the execution of numerical simulations and the application of their knowledge and experience, with regard to structural integrity. Interacts mainly with the Powertrain / Vehicle design and testing teams, working from the early stages of product development to diagnoses of problems and failures.

Among the responsibilities of the function, the following stand out:
Perform analysis and CAE reports of Propulsion Systems components or subsystems, focusing on structural integrity and fatigue mainly related to vibration (harmonic, random) and thermal field application, working together with the team involved to generate / direct optimized solutions. Durability and fatigue assessment of components and subsystems, Work in a team with other engineering areas... in order to always include the influences / contributions of the work of other sectors in the work of CAE, and vice versa
