Job Description:Assistant Project Manager - Architect (Space Planning)Abu Dhabi, UAERole: Supports relevant workstreams within ORAT and report to Client's Space allocation LeadEnsures that all stakeholders' operational spaces are identified and prepared for the start of operations in line with the overall ORAT programme from a facilities & equipment perspective.Validates space allocations and requirements, develops concept layouts, Room Data Sheets (RDS) and Bill of Quantities... (BOQ), Geographical information system (GIS) related to each of the stakeholders' spaces in the MTC and ensures all the required Furniture, Fittings & Equipment (FF&E) is identified, budgeted, procured and in place for operations at least 60 days prior to AODMonitors the procurement & deployment plans for space readiness across the MTC.Facilitates space takeover with stakeholders and property management including onboardingActs as the Single Point of Contact - SPOC and escalation point for all space allocation & FF&E matters associated with the overall ORAT programme.Ensures all non-commercial space allocation is completed as per ADAC Policies and ProceduresEnsures central repository for space allocation is at all times up to dateParticipates in transitional planning of tenants from South Side terminal to MTCManages Facilities document library and ensures all minutes of meetings are drafted and approvedResponsibilities:Engage stakeholders and supports the leads in the space readiness working group in the ORAT Facilities Workstream.Engage stakeholders to validate space allocations & FF&E requirements into Room Data Sheets (RDS)Develop space layouts (AutoCAD or similar) within the limitations of existing power & dataprovisions and ensure these are reviewed and accepted by stakeholders for Day 1 operations.Develop a central Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from the RDS to identify overall requirements. Agree budgeting and procurement responsibilities with each stakeholderCentralise stakeholder procurement plans, track and monitor procurement and deployment activitiesDefine the FF&E deployment plan and manage FF&E deployment for stakeholder spacesFacilitate stakeholder space take over with Property ManagementIdentify endencies, key status and review milestones in line with the D-360, 180, 90, 60, 30 ORAT countdown to MTC opening.Manage the resolution of all space allocation & FF&E related issues, identifies and escalates any threats to the overall ORAT programmeCompile PPT for engagement with each stakeholderPlan and execute all related site visitsPerform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Architecture (or equivalent) is required with 10+ years of relevant experienceMinimum 10 years experience in buildings/airport projects ideally in the UAE.Requires proficiency in the application of architectural design standards, practices, and techniques, as well as a demonstrated proficiency in sketching, rendering, model building, and presentation drawing.Ability to communicate in both English and Arabic is highly desirable.Proficiency in Revit or other software packages typically associated with architectural design is also required.Acumen for reviewing designs and construction plans to meet codes, budgets, and schedulesMinimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/NoneParsons is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
