Embedded Software Engineer – AutoSAR

You have the opportunity to join our team to face business challenges in a dynamic environment with close collaboration within the team and business stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
• Ideas generator and implementer of technically sophisticated basic software solutions for SW-Layers, Software Drivers and Communication
• Independent identification of developments in the area of responsibility
• Own-initiative conception and development of hardware-related software components (“basic software”) on embedded systems according to standards like e.g. Autosar and Adaptive Autosar
• Definition and development of Test Concepts for Validation and Verification for Basic Software Components
• Performing of Basic Software System Integration into Electronics Hardware Control units
• Independent coordination of the software requirements and solutions with the customer and colleagues from various departments
• Close interaction with internal and... external stakeholders

Your Skills and Experiences:
• Knowledge about Development Processes like Systems Engineering Processes and Quality Management standards
• Deep knowledge and experience with Standards like Spice, CMMI, ISO26262
• Longstanding experience with platforms used in the automotive sector (classic/adaptive AUTOSAR, multi-core) as well as in software architecture, sensor and actuator technology
• Profound experience with real-time operating systems (e.g. OSEK)
• Domain specific knowledge depending on the application, like System-, Communication- and Memory-Services, Autosar Runtime Environment (RTE) and Complex device drivers
• Very good knowledge in programming with C, C++ of hardware-related software components
• Highly analytical and conceptual skills as well as communication and collaborative skills
• Good English skills, German is a plus
