ASAP Start (temp to perm)

£12-£14 per hour depending on experience

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Administrator. TeacherActive is a friendly agency that values teamwork and high achievement in all areas of our work with young people.

Experience Needed
• Integral administrative and ICT skills (MS Office),
• Excellent interpersonal skills including a 'Can-do' attitude
• Be able to work as team, yet use your own initiative
• Be resilient, flexible and demonstrate an ability to work in a busy environment
• Experience of working within an office environment
• Previous experience of working in a school environment or with SIMs Net would be an advantage

You Are Required To
• Operate the School switchboard; providing advice and guidance to all incoming callers and personal callers at reception, and to make calls to parents and other agencies as required.
• Provide general secretarial duties e.g. typing correspondence in a timely manner using IT... packages, maintaining files, reprographics, ensuring that there are sufficient supplies of stationery, collecting monies, distributing post, dealing with emails promptly, stamping school post and taking to the Post Office as required, preparation of school registers and absence reports on a weekly basis.
• Be responsible for ensuring that all pupil data bases are maintained on a regular basis e.g. SIMS, Parent Pay, CHFSIS and produce reports as required.
