JOB DETAILS:
THERAPY SERVICES MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced Allied Health professional who will lead and develop a dynamic multi-disc Therapy Services Team, which includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Allied Health Assistants.

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing clinical governance and ensuring the effective and efficient management of Allied Health services across urban and remote NT areas.

Leading by example, you will work collaboratively to build strong relationships both internally & externally, whilst monitoring ongoing viability of services through the management of business and clinical key performance indicators.
You will provide strategic advice and direction to ensure that the Therapy Services Program continues to respond to NT service needs with a focus on continuous improvement and quality person-centered service delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure integrated and comprehensive service delivery utilising a multidisciplinary and culturally informed approach.
• Balance a clinical caseload and lead the daily operational needs of the team in Darwin.
• Develop, plan, and conduct assessment and therapy sessions within the clients’ natural environment that aligns with a person centred and strengths-based model – both online and face to face.
• Regularly evaluate progress and outcomes, using relevant measures, and discuss outcomes with NDIS participants, family and key stakeholders.
• Oversee planning of Allied Health Team workflow, service development and schedules within the Darwin region (i.e., individual and group therapy programs)
• Prepare full, accurate and timely reports that will assist in future planning and recommendation strategies.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local community groups and services across the Centralian region (e.g., Aboriginal Health Services, the disability sector, early intervention providers).

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
• Evidence of relevant qualifications (PT, SP, OT)
• Full AHPRA registration
• Minimum 3-4 years experience
• Strong clinical & leadership skills
• Ability to manage a multi-disc team
• positive attitude, adaptive & flexible
• Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
• Works well under pressure
• Full time position
• Evidence of Australian work rights (current visa or birth certificate)
• NDIS Worker Screen Clearance (forms.pfes.nt.gov.au/safent/)
• NDIS Worker Orientation module (training.ndiscommission.gov.au)
• Police check (within the past 6 months)
• First Aid and CPR certificate
• Working with Children Check (Ochre card)
• NT Driver’s Licence
