The Training Manager - Sparkrock 365 will have the chance to develop a structured training methodology for customers and internal teams, contribute to the evolution of the training curriculum and methodology, and work with a collaborative team of experts who are passionate about delivering quality work and optimal customer experience.

What will you be doing?
• The Training Manager for Sparkrock 365 will be responsible for overseeing and developing a structured training methodology on Sparkrock 365 for customers and internal Sparkrock teams. They will be an expert on using Sparkrock 365 and will execute training role activities on customer projects. Some of their key responsibilities and activities include:
• Creating and updating all content in the Sparkrock 365 e-learning website.
• Delivering initial training sessions to customers and creating customer-specific training content as required.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of training and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Contributing to the evolution and continuous improvement of the training curriculum and methodology for successful implementation of Sparkrock solutions.
• Collaborating cross-functionally to identify the most in-demand topics from consultants and customers.
• Building product expertise by researching technical content.
• Creating impactful videos with voice-over, annotations, transitions, and zoom in/out using video authoring tools.
• Providing live training to a group of customers on a variety of topics.
• The Training Manager will also work closely with the Sparkrock University cross-collaboration team and contribute to the evolution and continuous improvement of the training curriculum and methodology for the successful implementation of Sparkrock solutions. The role requires strong technical aptitude and experience or a background in Accounting or Finance/Payroll or Human Resources, along with excellent active listening skills, adept facilitation skills, and clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
What you will NOT be doing?
• The Training Manager will not be directly responsible for software implementation or sales-related activities.

Responsibilities
• Developing and overseeing a structured training methodology for customers and internal Sparkrock teams on Sparkrock 365.
• Creating and updating content for the Sparkrock 365 e-learning website.

• Working cross-functionally to determine the most in-demand topics from consultants and customers.

• Sharing ideas, strategies, and processes that will help to build solution advancements that benefit Sparkrock customers.
• Building product expertise by researching technical content.
• Collaborating with the Implementation Leads and Support teams to gather appropriate content for training.
• Providing live training to a group of customers on a variety of topics.
• Developing curriculum and creating online training using new and innovative tools.
• Using video authoring tools such as Camtasia to create simple, short, yet impactful videos with voiceover, annotations, transitions, and zoom in/out.
Requirements
• University Degree or College Diploma in related subjects.
• Experience or background in Accounting or Finance/Payroll or Human Resources, with a strong technical aptitude.
• Experience in the Not-for-profit, School boards, and Government sectors is an asset.
• Excellent active listening skills.
• Adept facilitation skills.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to articulate messages clearly to a variety of audiences.
• Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
• Strong customer focus.
• Strong organizational ability to manage tasks for multiple projects simultaneously and work to deadlines.
• Excellent team collaboration skills.
• Video editing software experience is a requirement.
• Experience with an ERP.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in adult education is a requirement: developing curriculum, online training, use of new and innovative tools, must be able to provide live training to a group of customers on a variety of topics.
• Storyteller: must know how to tell a story either through video or written content, to captivate the learner.
• Video creation: must know how to create simple, short, yet impactful videos with voice-over, annotations, transitions, and zoom in/out using video authoring tools such as Camtasia.
• Product expertise: must be able to build product expertise by researching technical content (articles, videos, etc.).
Nice to have
• Adult Learning and Development Certification is an asset.
• Accounting designations (i.e., CPA) are an asset.
• CPC, CPM, or CHRL designations are an asset.
• Microsoft certifications are an asset.
Work Examples
• Creating training materials such as e-learning modules, videos, and user guides for customers and internal Sparkrock teams.
• Conducting training sessions for customers and providing them with support as they learn to use Sparkrock 365.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with other teams within Sparkrock, such as the Implementation Leads and Support, to gather appropriate content for training materials.
• Contributing to the evolution and continuous improvement of the training curriculum and methodology for successful implementation of Sparkrock solutions.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in Sparkrock 365 and other relevant software, as well as trends in adult learning and development.
• Providing ideas and strategies to help build solution advancements that benefit Sparkrock customers.
