What do we need

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to manage complex Scientific SaaS delivery & implementations projects , to ensure that our clients are reaching their desired outcomes and adopting our solutions. The structure of projects is like other large scale enterprise deployments but the impact that this individual can have in shaping how organizations work to identify targets, discover treatments, or create new materials that will have an impact on our communities and potentially how better our lives.

Be in a unique position to leverage your strong SaaS Implementation/delivery skills, organizational, processes, and interpersonal skills across many clients, ranging from the top pharmaceutical companies in the world to the leading food providers, and start-ups focus on ultra-rare diseases. You will be an advocate of Dotmatics, engage stakeholders ranging from bench scientists up to c-level executives to effectively communicate Actions, Owners, Timelines, to balance risks and have the right conversations to protect, propose, and allow science to prosper. Typical things you will you be responsible for are
• Developing, planning and managing implementation of technically complex and challenging customer projects across disparate organizations in line with the Dotmatics project lifecycle using waterfall and agile methodologies
• Full cycle project delivery for enterprise level SaaS software
• Management of complex technical & digital transformation programmes
• Develop project objectives, by identifying requirements and barriers to projects, including cost, time, scope, and resources.
• Resolving complex business problems. Solutions involve proof of concept or industry first projects/issues and encompass all aspects of the project, g. equipment, business processes, vendor management, technical implementation, deployment and training
• Ensuring project is compliant with relevant standards, regulatory requirement and contractual agreements. Suggest and coordinate system improvements
• Providing overall leadership to team leads and project staff both intra- and inter-company.
• Ensuring Dotmatics’ interests are addressed by working closely with Services Consultants, Developers, Product Management, Leadership, Legal, Sales and other Customer Operations functions ensuring overall success of the project(s)
• Preparing and presenting internal and external executive briefings, including recommendations for executive action
• Management of project expenditures, both capital and expense and partnering with finance to ensure timely and accurate service invoicing for projects
• Assisting in the creation of proposals and estimates for Service Delivery projects from project extensions with existing customers to working on new proposals with Sales and Pre-Sales

We are looking for people who have a degree level or similar, with at 12+ years experience in SaaS Enterprise implementation/delivery projects, preferably with a Project Management Certification such as PMP, SCRUM CSM. You will need to have a solid technical background in either chemistry, biology or life sciences and display effective and clear communication skills with excellent problem-solving skills, and demonstrate experience;
• Management and delivery of multiple projects and programs in a SaaS enterprise environment
• Motivating teams of inter-disciplinary staff within a matrix organization and work independently with a focus on the day-to-day tasks of your multiple projects
• Being a team player partnering with and developing excellent internal and external relationships at all levels with the global organization
• Possessing high levels of organisation, with exceptional analytical skills coupled with excellent presentation and facilitation skills
• Managing, motivating and working collaboratively in a global, challenging multi-cultural environment
• Communicating at all levels within an organization
• Understand the WHY - able to manage customer expectations and influence other internal departments in relation to customer projects across all tiers, building joint plans for customer success
• Displaying strong matrix management skills with the ability to work and build effective relationships within a virtual team
• Delivering focused results & with a commitment to delivering on time at high quality
