Title: Technical Writer

Duration: 2-3 years

Location: Ottawa, On

The requirement includes but is not limited to the following work/tasks:

· Develop, write, edit, and manage various documents, such as policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), manuals, job aids and training, in English (French would be considered an important asset)

· Produce documentation utilizing provided editing tools such as Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) and the web-based corporate wiki tool (e.g., SharePoint or Confluence).

· Review and suggest improvements for existing documentation formats/layouts, this can include introducing new formats or styles

· Verify existing documentation for clarity, brevity and information relevance.

· Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and verify documentation related requirements.

· Gather and verify information through meeting with clients.

· Ensure document life cycle management, including appropriate version controls.
