Job description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.

Finance Manager responsibilities and duties
Ensure the effective running of the day-to-day financial operations in line with financial policies and procedures; and to be a main point of contact for those seeking information relating to finance matters.
Income: Ensure prompt, accurate recording, and classification of all income on the accounting system; issuing sales invoices for GST sales; recording remittances, electronic banking, and card payment receipts; and carrying out the credit control function reporting Bad Debts to the Management.
Expenditure: Ensure appropriate... approval is obtained for all purchases (with reference to preapproved budgets as appropriate) and for supplier invoices; check and pass all expense claims for approval, with due regard to expense claims policy; process on accounting system allocating to correct cost code; process approved supplier invoices and expense claims for payment in good time managing electronic payments process, ready for authorisation by bank signatory; maintain hard copy records for all payments made.
Payroll: Liaise with the payroll provider on a monthly basis to ensure approved updates to payroll information are processed in good time (joiners, leavers, deductions, pay adjustments etc); arrange approval & prepare payments of net salaries, payroll taxes and pension contributions owed in good time.
Any other duties as may reasonably be expected and which are commensurate with the level of the post.
Ensures business processes, administration, and financial management.
Maintains accounting system.
Leads planning and forecasting activities with business partners to achieve business and company goals.
Reviews financial reports.
Prepares financial forecasts.
Monitors financial details to ensure legal compliance.
Analyzes revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets.
Assists management to make financial decisions.
Supervises employees.
Investigates means to improve profitability.
Reviews and processes payments of the company.
Maintains an accurate filing and record keeping system for all financial statements and company documents.
Participates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business
Perform a variety of advanced financial analyses to determine present and forecasted financial health of the company
Use financial modelling to simulate financial scenarios
Present potential scenarios and outcomes to management team
Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documents
Collaborate with management on development and execution of funding strategies
Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles
Develop or recommend solutions for problems or situations
Finance Manager qualifications and skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required (MBA preferred)
10+ years’ experience in a financial management position
Proven strategic planning experience at the management level
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills
Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Strong communication and presentation skills
