As a Travel Sales Officer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling travel packages and services to customers. You will serve as the point of contact between the customer and the business, ensuring that customer needs are met while driving sales growth.
Responsibilities
· Identifying potential customers and creating a customer database using established methods
· Visiting a specified number of potential customers, including travel agents, tour operators, and other travel-related businesses, according to a monthly pre-planned tour plan
· Developing new customer relationships while maintaining existing ones
· Timely submission of complete daily reports and monthly reports as planned by the company
· Implementation of marketing and sales strategies as planned by the company
· Monitoring competitor activity and their products, and providing feedback to the company
· Attending weekly, monthly, or quarterly sales review meetings to discuss target versus achievement, product... promotion strategies, new launches, and future sales planning
· Identifying expansion opportunities within an existing portfolio of customers across all markets and products
· Promoting travel packages and services to a variety of markets, including individuals, groups, and corporations
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Management background ( Preffered)
· Experience in sales or customer service preferred
· Positive attitude, confident, and highly driven
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
· Willingness to travel as needed
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office Package
· Initiative and execution-oriented
· Ability to work well on your own and as part of a team
· Flexibility to learn about new travel products and destinations over time
· Must have a valid driver's license
