MaiaSpace is a European space tech company, designing, manufacturing and operating competitive and sustainable solutions for space mobility. INFRASTRUCTURE, MECHANICAL AND CIVIL WORK ENGINEER

As part of the "Ground Systems" team, you will be in charge to drive the design and the construction of one or more industrial facilities from search for land to installation of industrial equipment through building architecture and construction, in close collaboration with the rest of the development teams and End-to-End Industrialization function.

Your tasks will be the following

You will act as an autonomous technical leader, responsible to deliver the facilities on- Cost, on... Quality, on Time, with the following duties:
• Collect the requirements from the various stakeholders and consolidate them into high-level and preliminary technical specifications allowing to select partners and suppliers.
• Take into account analysis of Production/Operation flows, optimization of non-recurring costs and recurring costs, growth potential... in order to design or contribute to design the most efficient industrial facilities.
• Take into account the environmental aspects in the trade-off considerations.
• Manage selected partners and suppliers all along the detailed design and implementation phases, up to technical and operational qualifications, including configuration, waivers and anomalies.

Qualifications & Skills
• Master degree or equivalent in civil work engineering
• A minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a technical leader or a project manager in implementation of industrial facilities
• Autonomous, proactive attitude towards resolution of problems
• Team player with the ability to collaborate with people from different disciplines and cultures
• Knowledge or practice of Agile methodology
