The Role
We are looking for a front-end construction Solicitor with 1 - 2 years’... PQE experience to join our Real Estate and Construction team. This role will see you providing full range front-end advice to various developer and contractor clients on project structuring and documentation, risk allocation, procurement strategy, delivery and administration.

You will be involved in the preparation, review and negotiation of different types of commercial contracts including construction contracts, development agreements and agreements for lease.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work with industry leading professionals in an innovative and collaborative work environment. You will gain excellent hands-on experience working on a variety of complex and diverse projects across a broad portfolio of clients. You will receive hands-on mentoring and support from the supervising partner and other lawyers within the team, each of whom will be committed to ensuring you succeed in your role.

What You Offer:
We are looking for a Solicitor who will bring energy and innovation to Hicksons. The ideal candidate will:
• have previous experience and background in front-end construction law matters;
• have strong communication, drafting and presentation skills;
• demonstrate an ability to draft clear and concise commercial advice and documents;
• have a willingness to participate and enhance your business development skills;
• an ability to build effective working relationships with clients; and
• demonstrate an ability to perform legal research.

Previous experience in back-end construction law is highly regarded, but not required.
