Are you looking for your first registered nursing role after completing university? Then we want applications from you! We are seeking to recruit friendly, passionate and committed individuals who are due to qualify this year to join our friendly teams.

You will be a part of an integral multi-disciplinary team, working collaboratively with services locally, regionally and nationally to provide a high standard of patient care and ensure an excellent patient journey through our services and beyond.

We have dedicated nurse educators to nurture and identify your learning objectives both internally and externally. We are committed to lifelong learning and development.

We will be able to commence you on a... structured nursing preceptorship programme to support your transition from student to registered nurse, which is run internally, giving you the opportunity to network with other hospitals and departments.

To practice in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and Trust Policies, Procedures and Guidelines.

Ensuring high quality, evidence based care is provided to the patient through assessment, planning, implementation, interventions are delivered from admission to discharge.

Delegating care to unregistered carers and retaining responsibility and accountability for care.

Recognise the significance of observations made, and use them to develop and initiate nursing assessments and devise a plan of care and recognising the signs of “deterioration” and take action as required without delay.

Ensuring compliance with all mandatory training requirements.

Responsibility for the correct administration of prescribed medication including controlled drugs, blood transfusion and blood products.

Good communication skills with patients, families, the multi-disciplinary team and external agencies.
