Based in the Nordics (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland), our Sales Manager will be responsible for development and execution of strategies, resulting in profitable growth in the Sustainability & Decarbonization space on a direct and indirect basis, drive business results within the Nordics and increase participation across all Business Units.

The successful candidate will increase and develop focused customer engagement, centered around value creation and providing leadership and direction to the sales teams. You will build and share market expertise and help the salesforce grow our market share in the expanding markets.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
• Set and drive Sustainability & Decarbonization (S&D) targets in close cooperation with World Area and Business Unit Sales Management
• Develop a clear and appealing vision of Emerson’s value for the customer
• Ensure early engagement in S&D projects
• Partner with relevant Original Equipment Manufacturers & licensors
• Select projects to focus on and identify long term opportunities
• Establish the Nordics Top 25 List for strategic projects
• Understand customer and market dynamics and requirements
• As an active member of Nordics Sales Management team, using your observation of activities in the industry segment, build and drive the strategy to strengthen the relationship, increase loyalty and market participation
• Participate in customer development activities such as trade shows, fairs, conferences

FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:
• Degree in Engineering or relevant long term experience in the technical field
• Sales leadership experience and excellent understanding of the process control industry / customer applications is needed
• Experience in developing effective teams, crafting compelling vision for the team as well as managing and directing “virtual” teams would be beneficial
• Proficient in English language
• Travel ability (across Nordics)
