Jellyfish Pictures is looking for a Lighting and Compositing Lead who will work closely with CG/VFX SUP, Art Director to establish the look and feel of the sequence. This role involves leading a team of dedicated, talented, and hardworking individuals that form a part of a larger group of creatives.

Requirements

Responsibilities
• Set up key shots for each new look, location, or sequence of a show in a scalable method and establish an approved look
• Optimise lighting set up for each set/sequence and create lighting templates where required
• Collaborate with lookdev team to find efficiencies in lookdev and shading
• Perform dailies with the lighting and compositing team
• Liaise with Team members to resolve issues
• Create efficient solutions to technical challenges
• Quality control of rendered shots
• Fulfill the creative expectations set by both the client and project director
• Mentor artists through creative and technical challenges
• Experienced in Houdini, Katana, Nuke
•... Familiarity with working within a pipeline
• Good experience and understanding of industry standard PBR renderers
• Experience in Look Development for CGI shows for both lighting and compositing
• Experience in Lighting and Compositing as a key or lead lighter in a sequence-based show
• Good understanding of lighting and colour principles
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Team orientated

• Shotgrid experience is a plus
