Key responsibilities

As Maintenance Technician - Electrical, you will be responsible for ensuring the maximum operational availability and efficiency of all utility supply, processing and packaging equipment.

This will include carrying out preventative maintenance, ensuring all assigned planned work is completed on time, reporting critical spare parts inventory, supporting process improvement initiatives, contributing to the achievement of Maintenance Best Practice, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and manufacturing requirements. You will also be responsible for promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the factory.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will:
• Be a registered electrician or hold a current Electrical Trade Certification with NZ Practice licence.
• Demonstrate sound experience with electrical repair and maintenance.
• Ideally have some FMCG manufacturing experience however other industry experience will be considered
• Strong process aptitude and skill would be beneficial.
• Be experienced in using a CMMS system.
• Have the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
• Be an innovative thinker with robust solving skills.
• Have the desire to be part of the Company’s culture to continuously improve.
