The Technical services Team works around the clock on utilities and infrastructure systems to maximize performance and availability. Through a combination of preventative and corrective maintenance they ensure these systems operate as intended, and when they don't, they're returned to service as soon as possible.

This role is... specifically tailored to the Gigafactory Berlin process wastewater (PWW) treatment operation, previous experience with industrial wastewater is required. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of chemical and physical water treatment processes.

Responsibilities
• Develop and update water quality monitoring and analysis program.

• Cost tracking, consumption forecast creation and budget control
• Develop and update critical spares, consumables and chemical lists for systems.
• Investigate ways to reduce the cost of operation and maintenance.
• Coordinate with Environmental team for any compliance issues / improvements.
• Create and modify standard operating procedures (SOPs), system manuals, Sequence of Operation (SOO) documentation.
• Incorporate all improvements and best practices into site specifications and standards.

Requirements
• Background in working as a mechanical, chemical or process engineer in an industrial wastewater facility.
• More than 5 years of experience
• Experience in maintenance management of industrial wastewater facilities and utilities.
• Must possess process engineering skills:process development/improvement, troubleshooting, data analysis, constraint analysis, flow optimization and root cause analysis..
• Strong mechanical and chemical knowledge are needed.
• Basic understanding of PLC systems and programmable logic.
• Ability to interface with multiple engineering disciplines.
