Job Description:
Coordinating maintenance and other essential facilities services
Tendering for contractors and overseeing projects and refurbishments on site to agreed KPI's and standards.
Ensuring the site meets regulation & legislation and to Health & Safety standards.
Overseeing small projects on site relating to various assets/equipment etc (removal, new installations, moving around the site), ensure a plan is in place, all stakeholders are looped in and ensuring sufficient support/personnel are available.
Responsible for contractors on site, overseeing their work.
Emergency management in the workplace, taking appropriate action
Overseeing maintenance of personnel /site facilities (water, plumbing, heating etc.)
Energy efficiency / cost savings programmes.
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
Experience within an Industrial... Engineering, Manufacturing, or Warehouse related environment is essential.
This is an on site, 4 days a week role, with 1 day flexibility to work from home or on site depending on your preference. Proximity to Bradford will be crucial in maintaining commute.
Knowledge and experience in applying H&S requirements, QA and COSHH within an operations environment
Experience in managing Hard and Soft services within these environments
Experience in managing contractors and managing small projects.
IOSH or NEBOSH qualified (NEBOSH desirable)
FM related qualification, ideally Level 3, and ideally supported by a Facilities Management related academic qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent)
