Following an exciting acquisition, we need a new Production Manager. We are future-proofing our manufacturing facility to harness our upcoming growth and during these changes we need to continue to deliver our high-quality products and service to our customers. We are a very profitable site producing circa 20,000 tonnes of product per year, and we intend to keep growing!

BASIC SALARY: £45,000 - £55,000

Job Description: As our Production Manager you will ensure the production of an agreed volume of products in accordance with HS&E requirements, Quality Standards, and best practices. As we move into our next phase of growth and following a recent acquisition by a large multinational organisation, we now need... to modernise our site and ensure we have the foundations to build upon. You will also be responsible for the following:
• Reducing downtime of equipment and facilities
• Defining and implementing performance indicators and ensuring periodical reporting
• Always working in accordance with the companies' values, HR & HS&E policies, minimum requirements, and guidelines

Personal Specification: You will be an experienced Production Manager ideally with an understanding of REACH/COSHH/COMAH regulations. You may come from a Pharmaceutical/Chemical/Food/Distillery environment, but you will be from manufacturing and be looking to use your previous Mechanical/Chemical Engineering-based work experience to help drive positive change and maintain our high standards on site. In addition, you will ideally have:
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Academic training in a technical field
• Strong social and communication skills in order to effectively manage a broad range of stakeholders
• Relevant experience in manufacturing, operations, or engineering functions

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Production Manager, Production Engineer, Project Manager, Engineering Manager, Site Engineering Manager, Chemical Production Manager, Engineering Project Manager, NEBOSH, COSHH, COMAH, REACH, Chemicals, Adhesives, Raw Materials, Resins, Epoxy, Chemistry, Urethane, Polyester, Food, Pharma, Pharmaceutical, Distillery, Manufacturing, Anaerobic digestion.

The Company: We are a synthetic resin manufacturer based in the UK. We produce an ever-widening range of resins primarily based on unsaturated polyester and alkyd chemistry. We also manufacture a range of speciality resins with urethane, epoxy, and acrylic functionality.
