TheGeneral Accountantwill have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to execute day-to-day reporting activities and assist with general accounting activities.

• Perform full-cycle accounting, A/R, A/P, cash flow, and bank reconciliation .
• Accounts Reconciliation, such as revenue, intercompany, etc.
• Support the Finance department in general accounting processes, month-end close procedures, and audit preparation.
• Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data.
• Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Document financial transactions by entering account information.
• Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
• Analyze financial information and summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
• Assist with the management of cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports, ensuring the completion of bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Review financial data for accuracy, correctness, and completeness.
• Assist the Finance department with special projects as assigned.
• Support Audit and Regulatory requirements
• Tax compliances for the brands being managed.

Education And Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting and/or finance.
• A CPA designation or in pursuit of designation is preferred.
• Professional accounting degree mandatory.
• Experience with Global operations / global environment will be an added advantage / preferred.

Knowledge And Skills
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills, working knowledge of SAGE or Agresso software considered an asset.
• Knowledge of full accounting cycle, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow, and bank reconciliation.
• Good knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
• Thorough knowledge of necessary accounting procedures and principles.
• Experience with financial reporting is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems: Excel and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work and effectively communicate with all levels of management.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
