Due to further expansion and UK growth, our client have a brand new opportunity available for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their fantastic Finance team. This position offers ACCA/CIMA Study Support, great company benefits and is salaried up to £30,000 per annum.

Job Description Reporting into the Finance Manager, this position will take ownership and support the month end management account duties such as balance sheet reconciliations, posting journals, sales reports and VAT returns for example.

There is extra commercial scope of the role, that includes reviewing the product, cost and sales margins by working with the wider finance & non-financial business and stakeholders.

Other ad hoc responsibilities include looking after the ledger when needed for example.

The Successful Applicant Ideally either AAT, ACCA or CIMA Part... Qualified / Studier.

Open to anyone qualified by experience or wanting more exposure of month end management accounts.

Knowledge of either Accruals, Prepayments, Balance Sheet recs, Journals, Variance Analysis, VAT Returns etc.

Confident with Excel - Vlookups & Pivot Tables etc.

Eye for detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Can commit to 5 days on site.
