As a mobile access engineer you will be part of the Telenet Mobile Access Engineering team that is constantly working with cutting edge and diverse mobile access technologies. You will focus on our vision to expand mobile network. We’re working with technologies (ex. 5G) to improve connectivity in collaboration with different vendors.

Your profile
• Strong knowledge of Ericsson RAN products life cycle and software development.
• In-depth knowledge of 4G & 5G technologies.
• Proficient with RAN site design solution (Macro and indoor), integration and commissioning.
• Proficient with RF feature’s introduction, testing and LAB validation.
• Strong knowledge of RAN functionalities, parameters, and main performance indicators.
• Strong knowledge of RAN planning tools, network dimensioning and link budget calculations.
• Excellent RF optimisation & E2E troubleshooting skills.

Our ideal Mobile Access Engineer
• You have a Master of Engineering/Science degree
• At least 10 years of experience as an RF engineer in the mobile telecommunications industry.
• Analytical mindset & conceptually/process oriented
• Business oriented mindset to provide solutions in architecture design
• Ability to visualize and create high-level models that can be used in future analyses bringing the value to the core business through CAPEX/OPEX savings.
• Team player with good communication skills
• English is key, Dutch and/or French is an asset
