MAIN RESPONSIBILITIESAs the Senior Recruitment Adviser, you will be required to work with the Regional Recruitment Adviser, to develop, refine, implement, and, at the conclusion of each recruitment cycle, retrospectively evaluate the effectiveness of University (UK) India marketing and recruitment strategy.Provide expertise in designing, monitoring and coordinating recruitment activities and nurture internal and external stakeholder relationships.1.Develop the marketing and recruitment strategy for each recruitment cycle and its implementation to successfully recruit students from India, to agreed targets, with the support of and in collaboration with the international office of the university.2.Develop and maintain a calendar of recruitment activity for each cycle, this to include agency fairs, school and college visits, and other recruitment-oriented activity.3.Develop and maintain strong positive working relationships with key external stakeholders in India including education... agents, school and college counsellors, sponsorship bodies, accreditation bodies, alumni, etc.4.Lead the on-shore team in India. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with key internal stakeholders at the University.5.Proactively identify, recommend and participate in a range of promotional events both independently and in association with commercial recruitment and institutional partners or agents, which demonstrate a justifiable return on investment.6.Build and maintain good working relationships with education agencies across India/South Asia: with their senior staff in agency Head Offices, and with counselling teams in branch offices nationwide. Provide training and support as required, and provide regular feedback on agencies' performance and market, related to programs offered by the University.7.Engage in a professional manner with students (and with parents/guardians, etc.) at all stages of the recruitment journey. Oversee the day-to-day management of enquiries from prospective students and applicants from the region, playing an active role in converting students from enquiry to enrolment.8.Implement the University's plan for the enhancement and growth of international institutional engagements in the designated region.9.Attend agency and other education fairs across India, representing University to a high professional standard, and taking responsibility for the logistical planning around these events in the areas of travel, accommodation and freight.10.Conduct school visits across India, making presentations to groups of students, or one-to-one counselling, and building and maintaining good working relationships with school counsellors.11.Conduct college visits across India, making presentations to groups of students at these colleges or one-to-one counselling, and building and maintaining good working relationships with university guidance counsellors, British Council, British Deputy High Commission, Heads of Offices of International Affairs, Heads of Department, and Principals.12.Maintain and actively support agents and other key channel partners. This will include regular trainings and providing information about university's academic programs, including entry requirements and course contents.13.Develop and maintain links with alumni in India as appropriate as well as organizing and implementing in-country alumni events as and when required.14.Provide regular market feedback and intelligence to Marketing and Recruitment team and the international office.15.Use the University's Customer Relation Management (CRM) software and related tools to manage agents, leads and applications and business development (partnership) activities.16.Engage in social media activities and online training as per the client's requirement.17.Carry-out post-activity follow-up, including compiling data on student leads, and preparing and submitting reports on outcomes to the University.18.Assist in hosting online events and information sessions, assist with localized content and promotions and maintain database for follow up.19.Liaise and coordinate with appropriate internal teams for administrative issues including IT, HR, Administration20.Travel is an essential requirement of the role including work outside of normal working hours.INFORMATION AND REPORTING1.Develop and maintain a key contacts list and share a report with the client as and when necessary.2.Recording information from recruitment events and campaigns.3.Maintain time-sheets for projects and submit relevant reports as specified.OTHER1.Conduct support for recruitment in a professional manner, observing confidentiality in relation to the University's data, market intelligence, knowledge and other information.2.If required by the client, participate in virtual trainings from India.3.Any other duties as directed that commensurate within the scope and classification of the position.4.Knowledge of International Higher Education systems and processes.5.Ensuring that deliverables are met with a focus towards achieving the mutually agreed objectives and targets.6.Coordinate and liaise with internal administrative teams and with vendors for travel, hotel, event bookings etc. as and when required.QUALIFICATIONS and TRAINING1.Educated to degree level or equivalent.2.Relevant postgraduate or professional qualification. Qualification from UK will be desirable.EXPERIENCE1.Experience of working in student recruitment or similar environment for at least 5 years.2.Overseas study or living experience.3.Prior experience working in the education sector (preferably in an administrative, managerial, or marketing role).4.Experience of developing marketing campaigns and using social media as a communication tool.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and COMPETENCIESAbility to work under pressure; to build relationships and influence across all levels of organisations (internally and externally).Knowledge and understanding of the education system and understanding of the range of issues relevant to studentscontemplating study overseasExcellent organisational and interpersonal skills.Strong planning ability around developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans. DExcellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with high attention to detail.
