Sr. Mobile Applications Developer

Contract Duration: 8 months

Location: Hybrid/Toronto (3 days in the office)

As a Sr. Mobile Developer, you would work in an Agile environment with Scrum team members such as Product Owners, QA, and Development team

Responsibilities:.
• 90% hands on keyboard Android development, focused on the development and support of Mobile apps
• Develop specifications and make recommendations on the use of new and emerging technologies.
• UAT and product support

Required Skills:
• 5+ years of working as an Android Developer, (Kotlin, Android SDK, Java)
• Deep understanding of Android SDK, performance, and optimization (ie. AsyncTasks, Adapters, Fragments, Activities, Threading, etc.)
• Solid and demonstrable understanding of object-oriented design patterns and principles
• Strong understanding of mobile user interface guidelines and best practices
• Comfortable with integrating RESTful web APIs and JSON
• Experience with planning and writing technical... documentation

Nice to Have:
• Experience with Kotlin Multi-Platform
• Experience with Jetpack Compose
• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience with iOS native development
• SQL and relational database fundamentals
• Understanding of code obfuscation & encryption techniques
• Knowledge of Chromecast implementation and optimization
