The vacancy is in the Global Environmental Markets team, which is responsible for sourcing, balancing and selling environmental commodities linked to Statkraft’s own assets as well as the assets of our... customers around the globe. The team is located in Amsterdam and London.

Job Description

· Focus will be to originate and trade Energy Attribute Certificates, such as REGOs & RGGOs

· Manage end to end processes from origination, contracting to trading around the positions

· Collaborate closely with other team members and support units, to ensure proper management and the execution of the trades

· Maximize value creation by co-ordinating with other origination teams on similar or related products

· Perform commercial analyses of new products and business cases, and communicate the same internally

· Build and maintain strong and long-term relations with customers and business partners

Qualifications

· Experience in a commercial role within any environmental or commodity market

· University degree in numerate subject, e.g., economics, finance, science, engineering, or mathematics

· Strong negotiation and intrapersonal skills

· Proven ability to perform multiple tasks under time pressure and in challenging environment

· Good team player with a high level of personal integrity

· Fluent in English; strong command of another European language is an advantage
