About the role:
Support Te Tai Tokerau / Northland finance function in the processing, preparation and analysis of financial and management reporting.
• Ensure sound financial and business principles are applied
• Robust operational and capital expenditure budgets are prepared, and expenditure is monitored and analysed
• Cost reduction/productivity improvement culture is embedded within the directorate.
This is a permanent full time 1.0 FTE position working 40 hours per week based at the Whangarei Hospital. This position is fixed term until August 2023.

Key requirements:
• Relevant tertiary accountancy qualification (or working towards)
• 2 years' experience in a finance role
• A high level of verbal and written communication skills
• Good computer literacy with sound spread sheeting skills
