Variety Cruises Greece seeking enthusiastic and experienced Tourism/Hospitality professionals as Cruise Coordinator-Host-Tour leader-guide for the summer season.
Work on board modern 50guest ships with an international crew of 15-18members operating weekly cruises in Greek and other ports.
Candidates with a passion for sea and small ship environment with an outgoing personality able to provide outstanding service to guests of several nationalities, and to handle multiple projects efficiently for an overall great cruise experience and returning guests.
Excellent... command of English, good command of French and/or additional languages are a plus (Spanish/German) with a degree in Tourism/Hospitality or similar, previous experience of 2-3years on cruise ship or similar guest handling positions with good organizational skills, computer literacy, ease to speak in public, with a good health condition and swimming ability.
Main duties include welcoming and accommodating the guests, working closely with the Captain and the Chief Steward to organizing every day’s activities on board and ashore, giving destination lectures and informative briefings/PowerPoint presentations to the guests, promoting -escorting excursions, leading walking tours, hosting ship events, problem solving, promoting company’s brand name and products, and reporting to office manager weekly.
