Main Goals And Objectives

To provide the systems and process landscape to support the Quality relevant deliverables as well as the business goals. The role uses the relevant and best digital technologies to develop, implement and improve the GQ systems and business landscape.

The role all owns the integrity and security all relevant data sources for Bentley and also the wider VW group relevant data sources.

The role also has prime responsibility for all the relevant Quality process data in production, the ownership of these capture methods, training and support of these systems to meet Bentley, VW and legal requirements. To also provide coaching and... support to improve processes through application of systems and methods.

Main Responsibilities

Manage provision of the Quality digital landscape:
• Design and implement current and future quality digital solutions for quality processes
• Manage delivery of these systems through development and deployment into processes
• Ensuring through testing and feedback all deliverables are met
• Manage, train and ensure successful deployment into business processes
• Capture and drive lessons learnt into future changes

Manage and Own all GQ Data Sources
• Responsible to manage all data sources for relevant GQ processes
• Responsible for integrity and validity of data sources (GDPR, etc)
• Work with other functions to analyse and ensure quality data is accurate and relevant
• Provide ownership for end to end data for processes and relevant legal requirements (Baugruppen, process control)
• Analysis data to detect issues and trends in processes

Manage group GQ IT Landscape
• Create requirements for enhancements to current group systems for Bentley
• Represent Bentley brand at group working and steering groups
• Drive Bentley changes into overall requirements
• Manage group changes into Bentley
• Validate and drive feedback into future group systems

Continually Improvement of Processes
• Understand processes and potential use of technology to improve and support
• Lead changes to digital landscape to improve processes (aligned to digital SX)
• Lead process operators in improvements and monitor these
• Drive solutions for lessons learned and feedback into future projects/developments
• Act as consultant in GQ for use of digital to support process improvements

Digital Innovation and PEP
• Research sources for new developments in digital arena for quality
• Review other OEM solutions and apply to Bentley quality where relevant
• Plan and drive these enhancements for future projects (car line)
• Ensure all solutions are in place for new project delivery in line with PEP deliverables and escalate deviations
• Lead digital innovation topics in quality processes (proof of concepts, etc)

Skills & Experience
• Demonstrable experience in solution design and delivery
• Demonstrable experience within a customer facing/supplier management role
• Demonstrable experience in leading a cross functional system implementation Interpersonal skills and ability to work at all levels including all levels of training and system usage
• Demonstrable experience in leading supplier delivery of solutions (internal and external)
• Practical problem analysis/solving and training processes
• Demonstrable experience in delivering a cross functional project end to end
• Demonstrable experience in leading continual improvement in a digital process environment

Practical & Technical Knowledge
• Practical knowledge of developing and implementing processes changes in Quality processes
• Advanced knowledge of digital testing (UAT) and problem management
• Advanced knowledge of design methodology and application
• Process design and implementation methodology
• Problem solving methodology and able to lead others , focussed on data/process issues

Extensive knowledge of best practises in quality process and deployment of digital solutions
• Advanced knowledge in relevant SAP (or equivalent) processes and capabilities
• Automotive or equivalent process knowledge at both assembly (plant) and complete business (brand)
• Project Management experience leading large cross functional digital changes
• Advanced knowledge of reporting tools and data analysis

Qualifications
• Degree level qualification in Quality (IT) or Business Management or equivalent
• Recognised certification in relevant application to coaching level (e.g SAP QM)
• Recognised relevant project management qualification
