Job Title:

QA Analyst/Tester

You will need skills and experience using C# and T-SQL for this role.

You will ensure that the software created by their developers is fit for purpose
and any bugs or issues are removed before deployment to users.
You should be able to deliver and maintain a set of tests across various
platforms, using functional specifications to ensure the customer’s
requirements have been met. The types of testing include, but are not limited
to, automated, functional, integration, unit and usability testing.
The right individual for this role will be motivated and energetic, someone who
takes initiative and enjoys finding solutions to a range of challenges. A keen
eye for detail is a must.
Main Tasks
 Writing and implementing test plans, ensuring all tasks are carried out
efficiently and without compromising the quality of the product.
 Designing, developing, and executing automation and manual scripts where
appropriate.
 Reviewing software requirements and... changes and creating test scenarios.
 Identifying, recording, and tracking bugs.
 Performing regression testing when bugs are resolved.
 Managing own timescales.
 Committed to continuous improvement.
 Working closely with our development and support teams.
Essential Skills
 High level of numeracy and literacy
 High level of computer literacy
 Working knowledge of T-SQL
 Good knowledge of C#
Desirable Skills
HTML, CSS, .NET Framework.
 Manual / automated UI and unit testing experience in different environments.
 Creating Functional Specifications.
 Experience in an agile software development environment.
 Bug tracking systems knowledge such as JIRA, TFS.
