Job Position: Team Leader- Admissions

About the Organisation:

Our client, is a reputed group of Colleges with campuses in Australia, Dubai, USA, India, and are seeking applications for the Business Strategy & Special Projects department, who will lead various projects of market entry strategy and new business segment initiatives.

The Role

The Team Leader for Admissions assesses new applications for all international students for our universities and partner universities globally.

The Team leader will have a solid understanding of (or the capacity to learn quickly) the educational systems of the countries which source international students to our entities and our partners. The role also has the responsibility for dealing with both students (Directly or via a team of admission officers ) and agents.

What your day will look like:
• Assessment of all international applications for admission for all the available courses
• Maintain up to date knowledge with... changes in relation to international qualifications, education systems and institutions credentials
• Provide a customer focused quality evaluation and advisory service to prospective students, and agents, generally on all aspects of the University's admission requirements, policies, procedures, and entry pathways
• Assess the GTE requirements and/or genuineness for a student application in accordance with the published guidelines
• Respond to inquiries within the required turnaround time
• Assist the HOD and the team members as required.

What you will need:

This role will suit candidates with mid-level experience, preferably in an international tertiary education setting either in Australia or abroad.
• Excellent communication skills (essential)
• Experience in dealing with International Students
• Previous experience Assessing would be advantageous
• Technology savvy and proven experience using student management systems
• Genuine customer service focus and ability to initiate and manage business relationships across cultures
• International admissions experience (highly desirable)
• Experience working with sub-continent market will be highly regarded
• Understanding of the international admissions assessment principles
• Ability to self-manage and work to timelines and targets
