Procurement Contract & Accounting Officer – Ref: FA 04.23

The role will:
• Manage the procurement and accounting processes for the company, ensuring that all contracts and accounts are in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions of company’s projects
• Manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring that terms and conditions are in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Evaluate suppliers, assessing that the given services as well as the terms and conditions are aligned with business standards
• Create, update, and maintain accuracy of Procurement data in the ERP system
• Ensure that all payments are made on time and that all invoices are accurate and up to date
• Develop management reports regarding the progress and results of the procurement... plan execution progress and cost
• Participate in accounting-related activities

Requirements
• At least five (5) years of experience in similar position – ideally in a large Energy, or Telecommunications firm
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field; a post-graduate degree would be considered an asset
• Excellent use of Microsoft Office 365, with strong focus on complex excel spreadsheets
• Avid user of accounting ERP systems; experience with EBS Entersoft will be considered an asset
• Excellent knowledge of English
• Attention to detail while maintaining ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Work equally well independently or as part of team
