Notice Period: 15 days, Immediately

Job description for Hindi coordinator
• You will have to coordinate with the agencies that are translating English content; ensure that the stories are sent and received as per agreed timelines
• Run a quality check on each of the story received and ask the agency for a second or third iteration
• Sign off on the final version; this means that you are now responsible for the quality of the translation
• Upload the story on the CMS and ensure everything is working fine, including external and internal links
• Coordinate with the photo team and ensure that the right picture goes with the story
• Promote the story on social media to ensure it gets maximum visibility
• Coordinate with the writer to answer... all queries that are generated on the story; answer reader’s questions and build a connect with them
• Generate weekly or monthly reports on the stories created and their traction
• Run special campaigns in high footfall areas and/or hospitals to create brand awareness
• You may be required to organize interviews/webinars with doctors. You should be able to coordinate such interviews/webinars

The ideal candidate:
• Has a Master’s degree
• Has 4-5 years’ experience in English translation in a reputed newspaper/content company
• Is confident in front of the camera
• Can conduct interviews in the field or in the studio
• Has had experience organizing events
• Is conscious of the differences/nuances in every region is spoken and is able to pitch the story accordingly
