• Join us at Central Coast Local Health Local Health District as a Clinical Nurse Specialist for our Community Paediatric team.

About You
• You have demonstrated clinical expertise and clinical leadership in the area of Community Paediatric team, including the ability to develop nursing speciality clinical practice and service delivery.
• You have demonstrated ability to provide complex care and advanced clinical skills.
• You have a current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse... (Division 1) plus post graduate qualifications relevant to Community Paediatric and an equivalent clinical experience in the specialty of the specified post graduate qualification.

What you'll be doing
• The Community Paediatric team is based in the Wyong Paediatric Unit, and requires a dynamic and motivated CNS2s to work at Wyong Hospital.
• The CNS2 for Community Paediatric team (CPT) provides home based care for children under palliation and with medically complex conditions - provides hospital avoidance case management and liaison between tertiary and local services.
• The position is varied and interesting and requires a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook and eMR. A solid individualised orientation program is provided for new Team members, where you will learn all aspects of the role.
• We are a small multi-disciplinary team who works collaboratively to support patients and families across the Central Coast. A current Australian driver's license is a prerequisite.
