Locum Commercial Property Lawyer – Home Counties – 3 months – Full Time – Remote Working – Up to £55 per hour Umbrella
Venn Group’s specialist Public Sector legal team are seeking a Locum Commercial Property Lawyer to join a large Local Authority based in the Home Counties.

3 months initial contract with the likelihood of extension following this
Working Pattern:

Full time, however part time applicants may be considered
Working Arrangement:

Remote working, however if office presence is possible in either Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire or Cambridgeshire then this would be encouraged
Hourly Rate:

Up to £55 per hour Umbrella, dependent upon the individuals relevant experience
The Authority are seeking a

Qualified Lawyer , either

Solicitor, Barrister or an experience CILEX professional

to carry out this position, ideally with

Local Government background . The ideal candidate for... this position will have experience handling both a

commercial property

and

regeneration projects

caseload.
Duties for this role may include:
Advising the client organisations on regeneration, commercial property and other relevant legal matters
Preparing, negotiating and advising on all aspects of regeneration projects and commercial property work, including drafting leases, licences, and easements
Providing advice and negotiating on projects which involve multiple agencies and client interests, this will also include third sector and charitable organisations
Representing clients in negotiations and discussions with third parties in matters regarding commercial property and any other relevant matters
Promoting the Council and looking to identify further areas of development, and to build the property portfolio with both leasehold and freehold properties
