Responsible for ensuring compliance of projects and product development to company Quality Management, client and technical data pack requirements.

REPORTING TO: QA Engineer: Projects & Development

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Ensure Quality System Conformance to ISO 9001, Company policies and procedures.
• Effective Budget and Task Plan Management.
• Compile and Monitor Project Quality Assurance Plan.
• Assist with preparation and control of all Technical Documentation of Projects.
• Monitor Assembly Processes.
• Compile and update Project FMECA and Process Inspection Reports.
• Conduct capability studies to ensure reliable and accurate Qualification Process.
• Decision making regarding preventative and corrective actions.
• Product identification and traceability.
• Represent Project QA at internal and external Design Reviews.
• Conduct internal and external Project Audits.
• Attend and provide inputs to Project meetings.
• Monitor Acceptance and Development Testing and Evaluate Test... Results.
• Release of Products for formal development and Qualification purposes.
• Manage conflict and / or discipline with regards to Quality Management System requirements.

POST REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum diploma in a relevant discipline (Explosives Technology / Composites Material / Chemical) or NQF 5 equivalent qualification.
• 5 years experience in design, development and industrialisation of products.
• Experience in planning, organisation initiatives and leadership.
• Attention to detail, safety awareness and customer service orientation.
• Experience in Quality Management, Quality systems and procedures.
• Supplier Development and conformance to ISO 9001.
