For our Client- an international, rapidly growing company located in Katowice, we are looking for the person to hold the position: GL Accountant with French

Your new role

You will be responsible for performing assigned GL accounting tasks in line with internal and external deadlines and regulations and providing accounting support to the finance team, as well as preparing the required reports and data. Scope of duties included:
• Performing GL accounting tasks i.e. fixed assets inventory, VAT, tax process support
• Invoice verification and posting in ERP system
• Accounts reconciliation and bank statements reconciliation
• Preparing data for bank transfers
• Completing month and year-end closing activities in timely and accurate manner
• Providing information for financial reports and other analyses and financial data, as requested
• Ensure adherence to Local accounting regulations Group policies
• Support in reviewing and adjusting procedures
• Ensure internal and... external financial deadlines are met
• Sharing knowledge with team members i.e. supporting onboarding of new members of GL/finance team

What you'll need to succeed

To be the best Candidate for this role, you will need Finance/Economics educational background, experience in a similar position (at least 1,5-2 years), good understanding of GL processes and IFRS standards, excellent computer skills incl. MS Office, working knowledge of ERP/CRM systems and be fluent in English and French (min B2).
