As the Transport Operations Manager, you will manage the national operations of this whitegoods customer to ensure operations run smoothly. Working with the relevant Transport State Managers, you will ensure the success of the operations in order to meet customer SLA's. Your function will see you acting in a business partner capacity to stakeholders and you will have the autonomy to make decisions. Use your talents to lead a committed team to greatness and drive the future of logistics, using the latest technology.
• Oversee and manage the daily operational requirements
• Supervise the road transport fleet (including carton, pallet and line haul) across shifts
• Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines
• Manage an energetic team

To be successful in this role you will have:
• An in-depth understanding of Transport Operations
• Proven track record in transport routing efficiencies (pallet, carton & line haul)
• Strong understanding of the Australian Road Transport network and distribution channels
• Analytical nature and process driven personality with a keen sense of urgency
• Strong leadership capabilities with a drive for continuous improvement & safety
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of WHS, IR, & COR within a transport environment
• Previous experience with whitegoods/ electrical appliance customers will be highly regarded
