Applications are invited from suitable qualified applicants for the position of Internal Audit Manager – AIG Russia The successful candidate will be required to: • Conduct and oversee the effective execution of audits consistent with Russian legislation and IAD global standards and ensure they are delivered within defined timescales and to the highest quality. • To undertake a continuous risk assessment and develop, maintain and deliver against annual plans that are aligned to local business strategies and approved by BoD. • Establish and maintain professional and creditable relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including the senior executives and heads of business units across the delegated area. • Demonstrate a professional approach to auditing and a sound knowledge of governance, risk management and control. • Deliver high quality, high impact reports and presentations in accordance with the corporate standards and Russian legislation • Deliver reports on internal audits... results to the regulator as per local statutory requirements and represent the Company in Russian state authorities Area of accountability: • To perform the job effectively and in full as per the above outlined job responsibilities. • To manage the job tasks and projects with max quality and as per the outlined scope and time frame. • To preserve information acquired during job responsibilities performance in compliance with local law and Corporate Rules. • To comply with all the Russian State Regulations and Corporate Policies and Procedures especially with the Code of Conduct, Personal Data protection and Internal Controls procedures. Job Rights, Authorities and Restrictions: • To receive information and documents necessary for job responsibilities performance from other employees. • To interact with all departments (employees) of the Company. • An employee cannot combine this role (work) with other roles in the Company; may be a member of the Auditing Commission (Revizionnaya Komissiya). • May not audit the departments of the company where he or she worked 12 last months before appointment as an internal auditor. • May not be a founder (shareholder, member) of an audited organization OR • Has been the head of an audited organization (CEO), its chief accountant or a member of a managing board less than 2 years before appointment as an internal auditor. • The Internal auditor may not be related to the shareholder, CEO, member of the Board of Directors of the audited company, chief accountant or any member of the managing board Required Experience, Education and Skills • Economic, financial or legal higher education recognized in Russian Federation: (a) 2 years practice in the profession (economic, financial or legal - in accordance with the diploma) in insurance, reinsurance, other financial or auditing organization incorporated in the Russian Federation; or in state authorities of financial control, or (b) in case of absence of required education - special qualification in finance law on economics supported by the document recognized in Russian Federation and 3-years working experience in insurance/reinsurance company or insurance broker in F&A or legal department. • Fluent in Russian and English, both written and verbal. • Sound business knowledge of insurance products, operational processes (e.g. underwriting and claims) and distribution channels. • The ability to build an effective team and to collaborate with other areas across IAD and the Group in order to achieve business success. • A proven aptitude in introducing and operating best internal audit practices. • Strong analytical and problem solving ability. • An understanding of governance, risk management and control issues relevant to the assigned portfolio. • Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with a range of stakeholders. • Highly motivated with the ability to meet deadlines and to ensure quality in every aspect of internal audit work. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Be committed to continuing professional and personal development JSC "AIG Insurance Company" offers career growth, competitive salaries & excellent benefits, a vibrant culture and a world-renowned brand name.
