We are looking for a Content Writer Intern to support the creation of original content for GetGo’s communication channels, with a focus on articles and eNewsletter copy. As our Content Writer Intern, you will be a part of GetGo’s highly energetic and dynamic Communications team, supporting our Copywriter with important editorial tasks.

Our ideal candidate is a creative-minded writer who is passionate about the written word, who is meticulous, shows initiative, is self-motivated, and eager to learn and grow. We are looking for an intern that can commit to an internship duration of at least 6 months.

Day To Day Activities
• Conduct desktop research to source for industry-related topics
• Assist editorial... team with ad-hoc research support for articles
• Source for high-quality images and edit as needed for articles
• Conduct simple keyword research to support SEO
• Prepare well-structured outlines and first drafts for articles
• Use WordPress to upload, format, update, and publish articles
• Proofread and prepare articles for publication on Wordpress
• Ensure all-around content consistency (style, fonts, images, tone, etc.)
• Support ad-hoc content requests for the marketing team
• Learn how to use our publishing tools for social media and email

What We're Looking For
• Pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Mass Communications/Journalism or equivalent
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English, with a good grasp of modern slang and expressions
• Enjoys keeping up with current affairs/recent trends
• Curious with a collaborative mindset and enjoys working with people
• Detail-oriented, punctual, initiative, and independent
