About the role

In this role, you will be reporting to the L & D Manager... within our Distribution department.

You will be editing, consolidating and producing, high quality technical documents such as procedures, work instructions and training materials to assist the Distribution business meet its obligations under relevant health, safety and environmental legislation.

Key responsibilities
• Develop and review safety critical and operational procedures in consultation with relevant SMEs and the Business units
• Facilitate the accurate documentation of task-based risk analysis for high risk work activities
• Technical Management of procedures within DOCO (Document Management System)
• Create high quality computer based training modules, toolbox talks and competency based training assessments with Training Specialists
• Consult with the business to update or create operational procedures and any record keeping

About you

You will be able to drive business direction as well as motivate and mentor staff. You will be passionate about gaining credibility with managers to influence key decision makers. As someone who is decisive with a self-starting attitude you will be able to problem solve and shift to changing priorities.

Key skills and experience
• Extensive experience in health, safety, environment role in a medium to large organisation
• Demonstrated experience writing technical documents and / or reports and / or training materials
• Experience in complex Distribution / Logistics work environment (desirable only)
