We are seeking a Staff Level Environmental Engineer/Geologist in our San Diego Office

Candidates must have a strong work ethic and an interest in working in the environmental engineering discipline. To qualify as a candidate, you must have 1-4 years of experience in environmental engineering or geology and possess at least a B.S. in Geology or Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or other related engineering fields. An M.S. in the above disciplines is a plus. Preference will be given to candidates with a Geologist-in-Training or Engineering-In-Training status and the desire to obtain professional registration in a reasonable time window. Experience working with public and private agencies and familiarity with local and State regulatory environment is also preferred. Candidates must possess excellent organizational, communication, computer and technical writing skills.

The selected candidate will work in our team-oriented environment, primarily providing professional field and office services for environmental site assessment and remediation projects. The selected candidate may also support storm water permit compliance projects and other environmental activities.

If selected, you will work with technical teams and be expected to provide engineering services which may include:
• Preparation of Work Plans
• Planning and conducting field investigation programs
• Sampling of soil, groundwater, soil gas
• Oversight of soil borings, rock coring and well installation
• Data collection and analysis
• Calculations
• Preparation of Reports
• Cost estimating
• Preparation of plans and investigation reports
• Oversight of operation and maintenance activities

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the California Pay Transparency Law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary range: $57,908 - $73,028
