Job Description

Production Secretary (Casual Work): TalkTV are looking for a Production Secretary on a casual basis to work closely with the production team to ensure smooth running of all output. You will also provide admin and organisational support to production and editorial teams.

Day to day you will:
• Process invoices and expenses with Accounts teams
• Coordinate travel, hotels/accommodation for staff, crew and talent where necessary
• Complete and distributing daily call sheets and schedules for crew members and staff
• Work closely with the Studio Manager to maintain the smooth running of both studio locations specifically managing bookings, rotas & communication with crew
• Organise kit hire, or sourcing set pieces for specific shows
• Complete licensing declarations for any footage or stills used for productions
• Exhibit good communication working alongside production team and producers to assist with all programming and outputted content on the channel
• Set up new... staff or crew with necessary access passes, log ins &/or programs
• Meet and escort new staff or talent to studio/meeting rooms
• Discuss and explore any new structures to help organise workflow
• Update crew's rota and contacting them regarding their availability

What we’re looking for from you:
• Experience in a busy environment with a proactive approach
• Understanding of working within a Production team, particularly in a live production environment
• Strong organisation skills
• Willingness to go over and above at times when required
• Excellent communication skills, particularly with colleagues who are working to tight deadlines
• Passionate about news and current affairs, experience working in this environment a plus
• Awareness and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
• Ability to work proactively and reactively to high pressure situations
