General information:
You as a Project Lead Engineer will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam; Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for steel structure engineering of gas insulated switchgear.
Responsibilities:
Providing technical support for tendering and execution of customer projects, preparation of civil and steel drawings and bill of quantities for engineered items of gas insulated switchgears steel structures. Leading for steel engineering. Overall responsibility for managing and leading all steel or civil engineering activities of the GIS. Preparing specifications, check supplier's offers & co-ordinate with supply chain management for procurement of materials, equipment's & services for steel structures. Leading and attending discussions with customers, handle site queries and take necessary actions. Helping apprentices, entry-level engineers, technicians, and support teams with design questions. Reviewing of deliverables before submission to client... Participating in customer meetings as required. Activating participation in project review meeting. Contributing to reduce the lead time and cost of the steel engineering solution by developing a solution as per project technical requirements. Adhering to the detailed project plan to meet on time delivery. Ensuring quality of deliverable as top priority. Focusing on optimized solutions with benefit to customer and HAPG. Interfacing with primary, steel and application engineers on systems or solutions part from HAPG or EPC companies. Your background:
A bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering. Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in steel structure engineering. Knowledge of relevant steel structure standards ACI, ASCE, ASTM, AISC, ANSI. Strong interpersonal, communication, teamworking skills combined with open-mindedness, reliability, and ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in both spoken & written English and Arabic language is required.
