Role Title: Senior Business Analyst - Credit Platforms, Business Platforms, CTO

Location: Hybrid – Remote & Central Park, Sandyford

This role is being offered on a permanent basis.

Summary of role

Credit Platforms is a dynamic and high performing Business Change team within Technology that is focused on enabling AIB's critical strategic and regulatory credit change agenda. The role available presents an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Business Analyst to work in an agile environment, driving and influencing the design and delivery of our credit change priorities through E2E credit transformation and smaller scale strategic/regulatory changes. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be expected to work with our change teams & business stakeholders to analyse complex issues, understand business challenges and drive 'As Is' & 'To Be... process design in order to deliver solutions that align to current and future business needs. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to further develop and enhance their skillset and experience in the area of credit change. Having a good understanding of the End-to-End credit lifecycle & related processes in Financial Institutions is necessary for this role .

W e are looking for someone who can
• Engage with various business stakeholders to identify, understand and drive out detailed business requirements for credit process change.
• Take a leading role in the definition of epics & user stories, analysis of business requirements and problem statements, with the ability to identify available options for consideration together with a recommended course of action
• Work as part of a team with internal and external partners, demonstrating strong ability to collaborate and work through complex issues to find suitable customer focussed solutions.
• Provide inputs into solution design and challenge the status quo of legacy business processes etc., with an emphasis on standardisation & simplification of processes and technology.
• Arrange and conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops and presentations for a variety of audiences, demonstrating consistently high quality communication and influencing skills
• Take ownership for completing goals & meeting required deadlines.
• Work with Product Owner to create a product backlog & assist the teams in refining backlog so that user stories are ready to be progressed
• Ensure Regulation and Operational Risk are embedded in all activities

You will need to show us that you can/have:
• 5+ years Business Analysis experience, including change delivery experience involving Business and IT.
• Good knowledge of credit (lending) processes/credit systems in Financial Institutions, with an understanding of the strategic importance of transforming credit
• Capable of building strong relationships with technical/change teams and key stakeholders
• Experience in 'As Is' and 'To Be' process design & in problem solving across multiple functional areas.
• Excellent communication & influencing skills
• Experience working in an agile team environment
