Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome Production, has an exciting, and challenging career opportunity at its Head Office in Harare.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent, and experienced individuals to fill the vacant {x>st of I.C.T Administrator on a 3-year fixed-term employment contract basis, renewable subject to performance.
I.C.T ADMINISTRATOR

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

⦁ A first degree in Information Systems or Computer Science from a reputable institution
⦁ A holder of Microsoft Certification (MSCE) or similar
A minimum of Seven (7) years of post-graduate experience
⦁ Administration of server-side technology and networked (wired, wireless, switching, security, and routing) computing systems
⦁ Managing and administration of Microsoft 365 products, Windows Servers, and Exchange Online in a virtualized environment
⦁ Hands-on experience of the following SAP Technical modules (Workflow, Security, ABAP, BI... Basis) will be an added advantage
⦁ Strong client-focus and genuine desire to work with people
⦁ Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines
⦁ Working knowledge of SHE and Quality management systems and exposure to the NOSA SHE system will be an added advantage

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

⦁ Maintenance of the ICT Standards for computer systems access control and security
Achievement of high levels of data integrity through system monitoring procedures
⦁ Regular implementation of housekeeping procedures, including scheduled and manual data backups
Liaise with Software suppliers to coordinate and implement system updates
⦁ Generate technical reports on the operation of systems
⦁ Adherence to ICT policies, procedures, standards, and audits as per the plan
Provision of Client Support Services to Senior Staff
⦁ System Security and Disaster Recovery Planning
⦁ Research and Advisory Services on emerging technologies
