Tickling aside, you need to be pretty damn good at conceptualising creative across a range of platforms, clients and audiences. Long-form, short-form, any form – you’ll need to be on form.
Key objectives and accountabilities:
Fully understanding and interpreting all creative briefs.Generate original ideas that grab the attention of the target audience. This can include but is not limited to creating straplines, slogans, body copy, jingles and scripts, articles, editorials, and advertorial content for digital, TV, and radio adverts.Ensuring client CI and tone are maintained in all content.Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.Keep up to date with current social media and digital trends and be able to incorporate them appropriately into work.Solve problems and provide creative input and... guidance as and when required.Strong research ability to provide strategic guidance to the client and internal teams.Have a strong ability to conceptualise proactive campaign ideas.Key results:

All work is completed within the set material deadlines as detailed in the brief per project.Client approval is received and satisfactory.Attention to detail and immaculate quality of work is provided at all times.Continuous creative interpretation and execution of all briefs are achieved.Creation and presentation of all assets without errors and according to specification (corporate CI) are attained.Creative guidance and creative ideas are conceptualised proactively or when required. All administrative duties required are completed within deadlines and responsibly.Progress on all active jobs/ projects and/or tasks is communicated appropriately.Any other reasonable task as assigned by your reporting manager from time to time is performed.Education:
Related and/or preferred degree in copywriting, english or journalismLanguages:
Business EnglishExperience:A minimum of three + years as a copywriter within an ad agency.A portfolio of work is to be provided with the application.Bilingual - English and any African languages preferred.Specific professional competencies:
